We continue to look at the life of Esther, so let’s ask God for His help to understand more about her life and what it means for us today. After praying, read chapter 5.

Esther takes her time. She could have presented her request right at the beginning (verse 3), but she didn’t (verse 4).
She could have presented it at the first meal (verse 6), but she didn’t (verse 7+8).

Patience and taking the time that it needs seems to be the lesson God is showing me through the book of Esther so far. How i need that lesson now!!
I don’t know what God is teaching you through the book of Esther, but whatever it is, let God use her example in your life.

Esther dag 5

We gaan verder met het bestuderen van het leven van Esther, dus laten we God vragen om Zijn hulp  bij het begrijpen van haar leven en wat dat voor ons vandaag betekent. Na gebeden te hebben, lees je hoofdstuk 5.

Esther neemt haar tijd. Ze had haar verzoek meteen aan het begin kunnen doen (vers 3), maar dat deed ze niet (vers 4).
Ze had het bij de eerste maaltijd kunnen doen (vers 6), maar dat deed ze niet (vers 7+8).

Geduld en de tijd die het nodig heeft nemen is de les die God me laat zien door het boek van Esther tot zover. Wat heb ik die les juist nu nodig!!
Ik weet niet wat God u/jou leert door het boek van Esther, maar wat het ook is, laat God haar voorbeeld in uw/jouw leven gebruiken.
